The English side claimed an emphatic 7-0 win at home against Spartak Moscow to win Group E and ensure that Seville — who drew 1-1 at Maribor — would join them.

Porto won 5-2 at home to last season’s semi-finalists Monaco to qualify from Group G, while Shakhtar Donetsk beat Manchester City 2-1 to go through with Pep Guardiola’s men from Group F.
