Test forward Isaac Liu re-signs with Sydney Roosters on long-term deal

THE Roosters have locked in a key member of their forward pack, with Isaac Liu re-signed on a three-year extension that keeps him in Bondi until the end of the 2021 season.

Liu established himself as a starting player in 2017, wearing the No.13 jersey in one of the competition’s best middles alongside Dylan Napa and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves.

He capped his best season yet with a call-up to New Zealand’s World Cup squad, playing off the bench in three of the four matches of the Kiwis’ ill-fated campaign.

Speaking about his re-signing on Thursday, the 26-year-old said he was delighted to continue his career at the Roosters.
