Sydney FC goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne signs new two-year deal

THERE was no consideration given to looking elsewhere before Andrew Redmayne put pen to paper on a two-year contract extension with Sydney FC.

The goalkeeper is the latest player after Michael Zullo to commit to the club, with more announcements expected to follow in the coming days.

Redmayne, who has seamlessly taken over from Danny Vukovic this season, says he can’t imagine any players wanting to leave the environment that’s been created by Graham Arnold at Sydney.

“I think it starts at the top with Arnie,” Redmayne said. “Everyone has bought into the culture and there’s a great mateship between the boys — it’s just a place you want to come into and you want to train. Everyone wants to do their best for their mate next to them.
